With all due respect to those worryingly tasteless people who like New Girl, there's no doubt that the best new sitcom of the year was Up All Night. And really, it's no surprise. The show was created by Emily Spivey (who used to write for Parks & Recreation and SNL) with an incredi-fucking-awesome cast including Arrested Development's Will Arnett, the underrated Christina Applegate and the oh-my-god-so-good SNL alumnus Maya Rudolph. And we're not just saying that because Arnett has managed to sneak some of his hometown Toronto Maple Leaf paraphernalia into it. The premise might be simple — new parents try to balance their professional and social lives with raising their daughter — but the show is smart and complex in ways this year's other new sitcoms could only dream of. (coughwhatthehellhappenedZooey?cough). We've already called Up All Night "the greatest show ever about parenthood". And we were right.

Software engineering coursework became really stressful because every assignment seemed to involve coding, design diagrams, testing, and written explanations all at the same time. Managing every part within the deadline felt overwhelming, especially when I got stuck on technical issues.
