NXNE 2012: Cousin @ The El Mocambo

FRIDAY - The ‘90s are alive and well in the world of Cousin – and as far as we're concerned, that's never a bad thing. We here love the '90s (hell, we’ve pretty much never missed a Sheezer show), so the young Niagara Falls gents of Cousin are right up our alley.

Having talked to them recently, we were looking forward to finally catching them live and they didn’t disappoint. The guys hammered through much of their self-titled debut album — including the standouts “Breather” and “8-Bit” — in front of a rapidly growing crowd at the El Mocambo. Having followed the great Christien Summers and their super-infectious-14-coffee-like energy, Cousin were lucky enough to feed off an already excited crowd. And they answered by providing one solid mother effing rock show.
