Christien Summers have been on hiatus for about a year now — the indie dance pop laptop rockers disappeared into the night not long after playing our Little Red Umbrella Variety Spectacular at the Ossington. But now they've finally returned. "Like a unicorn rising triumphantly from a disco inferno," they say. And that return comes in a pretty big way: with the release of their debut single, "Take Me With You". It follows on the distant heels of their first release, the Cloud One EP. (You can still stream and download that for free here.) It's yet another hook-happy tune from the duo, the stuff summer nights are made to be danced to. And it's already finding some success, too, as the soundtrack to a short promotional video from Elle.
