THURSDAY - METZ definitely deserve their label as one of the loudest bands in Toronto
Their heavy drum kicks, thrashing guitar riffs and searing vocals injected a dosage of a high energy to the somewhat comatose crowd on the second night of CMW. Alex Edkins’ vocals were indistinguishable but who cares - it’s the projection of his lyrics, along with bassist Chris Slorach and drummer Hayden Menzies that bitch slapped us all that night.
The only complaint was that their set was less than 30 minutes. We needed more METZ!
