Visnyei was born in the former Yugoslavia and immigrated to Canada at the age of eight. She completed her BFA at Ryerson University and is currently working as a freelance food and travel photographer. Her work has appeared in publications such as The Globe and Mail, Oxygen Magazine, Maximum Fitness, The Fairmont Magazine as well as Covet Garden.Earthy, rustic, playful, organic, simple are words Visnyei likes to use when describing her work. It is within these descriptions that she strives to capture the balance between art and reality within her images. This dynamic is where she finds inspiration because it allows her the most freedom to play with light, mood and composition. It may be as simple as a loose bread crumb or a smudge of chocolate which she uses to reveal the organic and subtle beauty of her subject matter.
