Hands & Teeth Have Released Their Debut Album And That Has Made Us Very Happy

We're only a month into 2012, but this year is already shaping up to be a fantastic one for a lot of our favourite Toronto bands. Tomboyfriend and The Balconies both have new EPs out, Topanga's 7" is just a couple of weeks away, Boys Who Say No drop their very first full-length the week after that, and Hands & Teeth have already released their own debut LP, Hunting Season

The record begins in something of a more relaxed mood than the energetic live shows that made us fall in love with them — but all the loveable Hands &Teethy elements are still there: the hooks, the boy-girl vocals, the harmonies. And in the second half, things really come together, thanks especially to two songs that have always stood out in concert: "Missing" and the title track.

But you don't have to take our word for it. You can download those two tracks below, and watch the video of Hands & Teeth playing "Hunting Season" and "Sound of Hamilton" for Southern Souls. You can stream the entire record on their bandcamp page. And buy it there, too, for $8. Once you're done with all that, you can learn more about the group in the "Meet The Band" interview we did with them last year.
