Inspire Me Thursdays by Desiree Proveau

Some Thursdays, we post one of the "Inspire Me Thursday" posts from Desiree Proveau's wonderful blog, The Farmer's Only Daughter. It's full of style and crafts and lessons learned while growing up on a farm — the kind of stuff that can come in handy living in the midst of the big city's urban glitz and excess:

Good morning lovelies... Is it seriously still winter? Is God punishing us? ; ) Last week, at least it is was sunny and was that's something... if it continues being cloudy I may have to call in depressed.  : )

Happy Thursday!

....this cozy pair of socks (made by my Dad aka... The Farmer)

And we even got matching socks to celebrate our love... : )

And here are some shots from my time back home...where spring hasn't quite decided whether to stay or go...

The Herd

The boys making the magic happen...(p.s check out Asa on The Rick Mercer Report talking beer here.)

I hope you're all well... I'm looking forward to spending the weekend whipping up some natural beauty recipes! What are you guys doing?

Thanks for reading!!!
Love Desiree

In the midst of urban glitz and excess, she's incorporates the lessons she learned on her father's farm: to make due or mend, to never use anything just once, and to re-purpose what's no longer useful. Great Content. I have read this blog and its was literally good. I was writing my Dissertation Introduction Outline when I got my eyes on this blog and I just kept reading it. Because the story was so idealistic and dramatic.
